Control box contents

For the company Janssen Pharmaceutica, we developed vision systems that check the contents of a box for completeness. The different products are located in the box and it is checked whether all necessary items are present.

Vision systems that inspect box contents are equipped with a camera that takes black-and-white images of the products in the boxes. Through programming, the system can locate and inspect the products. In this way, there is assurance that the contents of the box are complete and any errors are avoided.

Once the vision system has checked the contents of the box and all the products are present, the machine will receive a signal that everything is OK. Then the box can continue through the packaging process. If all products are not present, the box will be ejected from the machine. Read here for more information.
