What is a palletizer?

A palletizer or stacking robot is a cobot that can place low weights on pallets. If you want to move heavy weights, a large industrial robot is needed.

At Promation, we develop automatic palletizers. Costacker, as the name suggests, is a cobot. That is, it is a compact robot that works safely alongside and with people. Cobots fall silent as soon as you touch them.

Palletizers tailored to your production

Everything we do at Promation is tailored to the customer. So also the stacking robots. We design your palletizer to suit your production process or we adapt our own stacking robot Costacker to your needs. We take all facets into account.

Robot arm: what should it stack? Boxes or bakery? How big are they? This affects the length of the arm, the gripper...
Steering box: we make these ourselves in our workshop. We first make a design of this, also in 3D. This way we can thoroughly check all dimensions.
Testing: only after we have fully tested the palletizer and are 100% satisfied will we come and install it at your place.

Here's how to integrate a stacking robot into your production line

Promation's various cobots work perfectly autonomously, but are often part of an automated process.

Cofeeder delivers the right material via conveyors: packaging, goods,...
Cofiller packs the goods and packs a label on them if necessary.
Costacker receives the boxes or bins from Cofeeder and puts them neatly on pallets.

This results in a smooth, safe and efficient production line.

For robot installations, we can completely design and draw out the layout of the robot cell. This allows you to walk around your own robot cell in VR and see your robot already working. We can also incorporate conveyors and mechanical structures into this.
